دأبت الرهبانيّة الباسيليّة المخلّصيّة العريقة منذ نشأتها سنة 1683 حتّى اليوم، على إيلاء الشأن الموسيقيّ الاهتمامَ الكبير، وعلى نشر التراث الموسيقيّ البيزنطيّ باللغة العربيّة الى جانب اليونانيّة، فصدر لها أوّل كتاب منذ حوالي مئة عام وهو “خدمة عيد خميس الجسد” وتوالت الخدمات الأخرى التي تغطي معظم احتفالات السنة الطقسيّة.
ثمّ ساهمت في إنجاز مجموعة المنشورات الموسيقيّة لكنيسة الروم الملكيّين الكاثوليك في 27 مجلّدًا، نُشرت خلال السنوات (2005-2020)، وها هي اليوم تواكب التطوّر التكنولوجيّ، وتقدّم لكلّ من يحمل هاتفًا ذكيًّا تطبيقات سهلة الاستعمال، مستندةً على نصوص المنشورات الموسيقيّة المذكورة سابقًا وعلى تسجيلات تتمّ تباعًا في استوديو دير المخلّص-جون، وعلى خبرة بعض الرهبان في البرمجة.
نأمل أن تساهم هذه التطبيقات والفديوهات في إيصال الكلمة واللحن الى أكبر عدد ممكن من المرنّمين والمؤمنين ومن المهتمّين بالشأن الليترجيّ، وأن تسهّل عمليّة تعلّم الترانيم البيزنطيّة الجميلة والمشاركة في حياة الكنيسة وطقوسها
Depuis sa fondation (en 1683), l’Ordre Basilien Salvatorien a accordé une grande attention à la musique, et il a diffusé le patrimoine musical byzantin en langue arabe et grecque. Le premier livre publié en arabe, il y a une centaine d’années, fut l’office du “Jeudi du Corps du Seigneur” (Corpus Domini), puis beaucoups d’autres services couvrant la plupart des festivités de l’année liturgique.
Ensuite, l’Ordre a contribué à la réalisation de la “Collection des publications musicales de l’Église Melkite Catholique” en 27 volumes, publiés au cours des années (2005-2020). Aujourd’hui, au sein du développement technologique moderne, l’Ordre offre des applications pour smartphones, faciles à utiliser, basés sur les textes des publications musicales mentionnées précédemment, accompaghés d’enregistrements réalisés au studio du monastère Saint-Sauveur (Joun, Liban), et sur l’expérience de certains moines en programmation.
Nous espérons que ces applications et vidéos contribueront à transmettre la parole et la mélodie au plus grand nombre possible de chantres, de croyants et de personnes intéressées par les affaires liturgiques, et faciliteront le processus d’apprentissage des beaux chants byzantins, et de participation à la vie et aux rituels de l’église.
Since its foundation in 1683, the Basilian Salvatorian Order has paid great attention to music, and has worked to spread the Byzantine musical patrimony in Arabic and Greek. The first book published in Arabic, around a century ago, was the office of “Thursday of the Body of the Lord” (on the same date as the Latin Rite feast of Corpus Christi), then many other service-books covering the greater part of the feasts of the liturgical year.
Thereafter, the Order contributed to the production of the “Collection of the Musical Publications of the Melkite Catholic Church” in 27 volumes, published over the course of the years 2005-2020. Today, in the context of modern technological developments, and drawing on the experience of some of the monks in computer programming and application development, the Order offers easy-to-use smartphone applications, based on the texts of the aforementioned musical publications and accompanied by recordings made at the studio of Deir el Moukhalles (The Monastery of the Holy Saviour) in Joun, Lebanon.
We hope that these applications and videos will help to spread the words and melodies to the greatest possible number of cantors, believers, and people interested in liturgical matters, and that they will facilitate both the process of learning the beautiful Byzantine chants, and participation in the life and rites of the Church.
